Page creation deficencies

edit
  • The Intro could use another sentence or two.
  • need to discover the start and end date of the operation — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jiwhit01 (talkcontribs) 07:53, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Need to find more citations, preferably press releases from participating countries
    • The second set of citation sources will be from testimony and other information released in discovery in the trials
    • Lastly, FOIA requests, this would be a good project to submit to redditors and the FOIAproject.org
  • Links to government agencies that are in Red need to be fixed, or pages need to be created.
  • The budget for the operation for each country.
  • The legality of the operation, (warrants, whether the warrants were upheld)
  • Analysis by law reviews, news organziations and other parties
  • A link to a page that goes over the list of people that were prosecuted
  • Lastly, getting the page created in each of the countries that participated in their language.

Aviram,
Not sure what you are talking about as far as "non-free sources" the 2 primary sources cited are 2 US federal government press releases, which are both free and available for public use. I'm working on obtaining other sources for an other wise "top secret" and "sensitive materials' government operation, so primary sources are going to be scarce.

Quoted from:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Copyrights United States Code; Title 17; Chapter 1; § 105 Subject matter of copyright; United States Government works. Copyright protection under this title is not available for any work of the United States Government, but the United States Government is not precluded from receiving and holding copyrights transferred to it by assignment, bequest, or otherwise.US Code

I'm going to remove the tag, if you have an explanation for the tag, feel free to write me back and please add to the talk page of the main page so other people can benefit from this discussion. eximo (talk) 22:02, 24 January 2024 (UTC) eximo (talk) 22:03, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Moved page from Operation Dark Huntor to Operation Dark HunTor, which is the correct spelling. This has the added effect of creating a redirect for anybody that spells it Operation Dark Huntor.
  • Created a redirect from the landing page Operation Dark Hunter

Feedback from New Page Review process

edit

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Another editor has commented noted that it needs more indepedent references. All of the references so far are from organizations involved with the opertation, so could be seen as having a biased point of view. So, some independent sources; news articles covering the topic; journal articles would be even better.
