Boy Who Never Slept's license is by-nc-sa, so it's not free. Gallaecio (talk) 10:52, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merge? edit

The opening line states: "Open source films (also known as open content films and...". But there is an article on open content film, should these two be merged? ... (talk) 21:53, 5 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Either merge it or remove one list. Two lists are stupid, one is always incomplete. Thanks. 92.39.27.199 (talk) 22:30, 17 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

link to Jathia's Wager or to the movie's download and sources is nowhere to be found under that URL. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.58.78.141 (talk) 16:45, 19 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rename suggested edit

Actually, the real reason these films are interesting is the license. The best way to describe these to people is with the phrase "Open licensed". I'd like to suggest a better name for this list is "Open licensed film". 208.72.192.2 (talk) 19:01, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

just what is there about "open source" that isn't strictly to do with the license? 216.138.75.50 (talk) 21:39, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Per WP:HYPHEN. While some sources drop the hyphen, this is common among field professionals and in advertising. Here, the hyphen is necessary for non-experts, as well as being prescribed by the major US and UK style guides. In many places, the absence of the hyphen is ambiguous. Thanks for fixing, Dick. Tony (talk) 08:06, 11 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. For a general audience such as Wikipedia's the term is ambiguous without the hyphen. —  AjaxSmack  04:06, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
