Intro to Neutrality and Wikipedia edit

Hello, all. As there has been considerably controversy regarding the content of this page, I thought it time to remind everyone about Wikipedia's commitment to Neutrality.

Please familiarize yourself with the linked page.

Wikipedia is not a place to promote your narrative or your party's political message. It is a space to inform interested parties by presenting the facts in an objective, neutral way, using reputable sources and a clear, simple-to-understand page layout.

This page will not be improved by using only primary sources that come directly from the party. This page uses quotes from the party's founder, bullet points regarding the party's platform, and reputable news sources to fill out remaining information.

There is no bias on this page. Myself and the other legitimate Wikipedians who are editing this page do not have a preference for or antipathy toward this party. We make edits to inform, educate, and inspire. Not to propagandize or promote a particular agenda.

Please consider this before making your next edit or defamatory statement.

If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to post them on my talk page. Thanks. HamOntPoliFiend (talk) 14:21, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism edit

Hello, you are not being factually accurate with your data and info on the Ontario Alliance which I have crosschecked your purposeful innuendo and propaganda with, so why are you erroneously writing incorrect data and info on that provincial political party in particular, when the history proves the opposite of what you are posting on its party article here on wikipedia, HamOntPoliFiend et al? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.254.254.12 (talk) 00:27, 6 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please stop vandalizing this page for this provincial political party, as you are misrepresenting what the party truthfully stands for, if you need guidance speak with the party officials before writing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.254.254.12 (talk) 23:03, 2 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Your the one removing all the history section over and over - you're only being reverted as you continue just to remove cited information and change info without any reference. KylieTastic (talk) 23:07, 2 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

KylieTastic, you are misrepresenting a provincial political party you obviously know nothing about, did you contact the party to even ask what it stood for as none of your citations hold any truthful value or critical thought into what the party is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.254.254.12 (talk) 20:29, 8 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you have further information backed up by a reliable source, please share it with us. If you're not sure what a reliable source is, you can read here: WP:RS. Alternatively, you can simply post it here. Outback the koala (talk) 01:24, 9 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

THIS IS A FAKE NEWS PAGE edit

This page is in no way affiliated with the alliance Party of Ontario. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.248.152.207 (talk) 02:08, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • "This page is in no way affiliated" - Correct, Wikipedia is an Encyclopedia about subjects, not articles by subjects. KylieTastic (talk) 11:26, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

KylieTastic, incorrect, this is not an encyclopedia about the subject Ontario Alliance rather a biased fake news website to discredit the party.

  • I'd appreciate it if users would stop using the pejorative "fake news". That term is meant to indicate something is a falsified piece of media reporting meant to confuse the electorate, as was what happened during the 2016 US Presidential Election when Russian spammers in the Internet Research Agency tried to mislead the voting public on the intentions of Hillary Clinton using false stories and lies. This is Wikipedia, not the news. We are using sources from accredited, real, recognized news outlets, as well as the Alliance Party's own website, to construct this page. Just because it does not read like an Alliance Party press release does not mean it is in any way false or misleading. HamOntPoliFiend (talk) 04:26, 6 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
