Transliterate edit

Odd transliteration, for a start... -Wetman 08:21, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)

What transliteration would you suggest instead ?

Spell edit

What is meant by "the correct spelling" in the second paragraph? Surely as the correct spelling in romaji is the article title. Does the wrestling thingamajig bear any relation to the article?

Needs Total Revamp edit

Either this is copied from the Monstropedia or Monstropedia copied this. Either way, this article needs revision. 207.216.200.81 (talk) 02:23, 3 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Japanese Folklore Examples edit

There's several examples of onryō in modern Japanese folklore. Take, for instance, the teke-teke, a woman who was cut in half by a train and whose ghost goes about tearing people in half. There's also Hanako-san of the Toilet, the kuchisake-onna, to name a few. We could use these examples to make it more distinct from "Monstropedia", as the above post suggests. 173.180.75.13 (talk) 08:18, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The paragraph marked "confusing" and beginning with "Shoku Nihongi" needs to be clarified. The story doesn't make sense to English speakers; mainly, the use of the word "rehabilitation" (of the deceased) seems misappropriated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caoimhequi (talkcontribs) 22:33, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Kayako edit

In the Yūrei article, Kayako Saeki is classified as Jibakurei and not as Onryō. What article is correct? George Rodney Maruri Game (talk) 03:28, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
