Why has a single page got its own category? I will try to find another page but if cannot within a day or two, will remove. SeoR 01:05, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notable? Residents edit

Where is the evidence of notability of these people? Who are they? Especially "gym instructor Irtiza Malik, male model Junaid Malik and business tycoon Salman Imtiaz" - two names in common, and a gym instructor and a model? SeoR 09:41, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Trendy POV edit

Will the anon who wants to make disparaging remarks about the "fake" Main Street please desist. It is a street. It is called Main Street. It is the retail centre of the area. It is built to appear similar to a traditional Main Street. You don't like it. That ain't Ongar's problem. Thanks Sarah777 (talk) 11:49, 26 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

By golly 212.58.190.138 I think you done good:) Sarah777 (talk) 10:16, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think the one on the left is over-exposed; there is no sign of life in it; town centre without a single person visible and lacking the moody blue of the one on the right.
Also the one on the right is straight while the one on the left has a very poor positioned shadow streak and a badly positioned van above the streak.
A tiny bit of adjustment to the one on the right; easily done by increasing the brightness - and the tasteless postcard on the left is eating dust!

Note how the trees have grown between the two shots...Sarah777 (talk) 12:57, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Left gets my vote. There are shadows in both. There are vans/cars in both. It's a more interesting angle. It's more recent. Laurel Lodged (talk) 20:15, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

You could be right...but that photograph replacement editor is in danger of 3rr. I'll work on producing better photos/photoshops than all of the pics here...strictly to improve the project. The new guy utterly failed to WP:AGF. One cannot approve of that :) Sarah777 (talk) 19:33, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
More seriously, to prevent "photo-edit" wars. I've always stuck to a policy on not replacing a photo unless mine is manifestly superior. That doesn't apply in this case.Sarah777 (talk) 19:36, 13 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • I was asked to give a third opinion on this. I prefer the right-hand one but I think a better shot could be taken. If that is possible it would be the best outcome. Meantime there is nothing wrong with using either. --John (talk) 18:44, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
