The flag spells "Rome" as "Reme" which is not a place. File:Oneida County, NY Flag.svg was created based on File:Us-ny-on.gif. That sources to [1], which dates the flag as 2002. So it may be an older version of the flag.

I've notified the Commons user who created the SVG version of the typo and asked if they have any interest in creating an updated version. -Apocheir (talk) 20:49, 3 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
