PC Sync connector edit
What's with the mention of a PC sync connector? That is utter nonsense - this device predates the existence of the PC by nearly 20y. Liam Proven (talk) 12:33, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- "PC Sync" is the (with hindsight, slightly unfortunate) name given to a Prontor Compur flash-sychronization socket. Confusing, yes, but it's what it's called. 88.105.16.125 (talk) 11:57, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
'Tessar' lens? edit
I'm old enough to remember those TV adverts with Bailey and distinctly remember the mention made of its Zuiko lens (Zuiko being the brand name for Olympus lenses for many years) Isn't Tessar a Zeiss brand name? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.194.15.94 (talk) 00:53, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Patents have a time limit so the Tessar design has been in the public domain for a long time now and decades before the trip 35 came out. It was also licensed to many other camera/lens manufacturers.
