I'll be happy to review this...

  • I take it his DOB is hard to obtain?
  • "...at New York University, at its Tisch School of the Arts", how about New York University's Tisch School of the Arts to avoid repetition of 'at'?
  • Given the subject is British, should his entry be written in British English? If so, recognized becomes recognised, et al.
  • Should links to Further reading be ones which are already referenced in the article?
  • Sky Movies is not italicised – neither a television programme nor print publication.

Few dead links which need checking. No dabs. On hold for a week.

Response to GA Review

Thanks very much for these helpful suggestions!

  1. Yes, his DOB is not mentioned in any of the secondary sources I came across during the course of my research.
  2. Done. Modified sentence as recommended, above, thank you.
  3. Done. Changed usages to British English, as suggested, above.
  4. I think the links in the Further reading sect helpfully point out to the reader where the reader can go to for more information and reading material on the subject. This way, it's a shortcut for the reader who doesn't want to peruse the References sect themselves.
  5. Done. Removed italics from Sky Movies.
  6. Done. Re-checked all links mentioned at that linkchecker tool, all work just fine.

Thanks again for these useful recommendations, — Cirt (talk) 17:07, 24 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
