Arbitrary header edit
Deletion of this article is contested. This league is notable as it played hockey at the highest Amateur level in North America, as proven by twice winning the Allan Cup. Dolovis (talk) 21:49, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

- This Senior League spawned two national champions and one world champion. It played host to many notable NHL alumni and was a direct feeder system to the NHL. "Amateur" is a losely fitting term in Sr. hockey and it always has been. This is a notable organization and so are the teams of this organization. The only thing wrong with this article is that it looks terrible... it needs some work. DMighton (talk) 17:46, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- Being amateur does not automatically mean its deletable. We have many many many amateur leagues in all sorts of sports on Wikipedia. What you are doing is confusing amateur hockey with youth hockey, which are two different things. Youth hockey is amateur but it is only a local league that has anyone that pays to play. Whereas senior hockey at the time was the equivalent to the minor leagues at the time (at least in Canada) where people paid to go watch. -DJSasso (talk) 17:56, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
