Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because while it is a very short article, it does have sufficient context to identify the subject, specifically "Oil cloth is cloth impregnated with oil resulting an impermeable, breathable fabric." In my opinion, the subject is sufficiently notable to justify an article. - MrX 23:13, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

The result of the move request was: moved. The target actually had a long history of copyvios and nonsense, but no talk page and nothing worth keeping. Andrewa (talk) 19:45, 10 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Oil clothOilcloth – Common form of the name. Needs a G6 as there's a redirect in the way. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:27, 2 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

The waterproof 'oilcloth' cover of the British Waterloo infantryman's cap/shako brought me here edit

In other words keep this WIKI alive. So simple but yet so effective. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.197.75.50 (talk) 19:42, 1 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
