Old stores
editLooking back I can still picture the mall the way it was in the 70's and 80's. The childrens play areas had giant concrete turtles to plan on. The main part of the mall across from the Macy's entrance had Toms River Music, the organ store, County Seat, Joannes candy store, Orange Julius, Pandoras box if I remember correctly. There were two water features, one was down by Woolworth and Father and Son shoes, kids would always out soap in the fountains and they would fill with bubbles. Oh yeah, Chess King is where the food court is now, Radio shack has been in the same place since the mall opened I think. Anyone else have any other memories from this time? One thing that I cant remember is the name of the restaurant that was in Macys. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.54.105.250 (talk) 22:46, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- The pet shop at the Sears end; the pizza place next to the water feature at the JCP end; Camelot Music, the plant store and the crafts shop near the Sears end water feature. And the arcade and Burger King where Applebees is now. MCWicoff 17:12, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
