best approach to dealing with the large number of sections that are unsourced edit

I was noticing a change to the Bahamas section and was about to revert, but I noticed the previous content was unsourced. I started looking and so much of the article is unsourced. Any suggestions on how to approach that? Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:23, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Some kind of collective mission to improve it? Do many already exist as stand alone articles? Irtapil (talk) 22:39, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Rubbish in Scottish section edit

> On Christmas Day, people sometimes make big bonfires and dance around them to the playing of bagpipes.

This is rubbish. No-one in Scotland dances around bonfires playing bagpipes on Christmas day. It's celebrated like pretty much the rest of the UK. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.31.138.162 (talk) 20:36, 25 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

spilt? edit

But spilt HOW? Cold make it a list and split off 200 sub pages? Irtapil (talk) 22:16, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

The longer ones seem like they should have sub pages, partially for keyword search. Came here looking for "christmas in brazil" and took me forever to find this page. Slinkyco (talk) 00:53, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Gaza is missing edit

This is missing Christmas in Gaza, possibly should be in plast tense by now, but still relevant. Also the West Bank side seems to focus on the tourist bits? Needs more locals. Irtapil (talk) 06:56, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not only Gaza itself, but Christmas being kind of cancelled in 2023.
  • Needs Jesus in the rubble
  • and the holy family in barbed wire
But also Gaza itself like
  • the Christmas tree at Gaza YMCA
  • difficulty visiting family in the west bank (or does that belong better elsewhere on Wikipedia?
I've been meaning to add this stuff myself for ages, but I've not got around to it. So flagging as a thing that needs doing incase someone else manages to do it sooner. Irtapil (talk) 07:03, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
