Where are the village Historians?

Obrovac a village located in the Bačka Palanka municipality, in the South Bačka District of Serbia, Serbia and Montenegro. It is situated in the Province of Vojvodina. Today the village has a Serb ethnic majority and its population is 3,184 people.

The Village Names German: Obrowatz Official: Obrovac Hungarian: Borócz, Obrovácz Obrovac. The first recorded in History in 1308, And the Germans resettled the village soon after 1768 and it belonged to two church parishes, Churches: Roman Catholic/Kalocsa diocese, Greek Orthodox/Bács diocese

The year 1921: 3,039 (1,850) The year 1910: 2,930 (1,843) The year 1880: 2,730 (1,504)

In the 1800's and early 1900's. I am curious about the early history of Obrovac. Can anyone tell me about when Obrovac was settled. During the Mid to late 1800's I know that many Donauschwaben lived in the villages along with Croatians and Hungarians. Many of the Germans left during WW1 and WW2 What was life like back then? Where are the village Historians?
