Fair use rationale for Image:Grb-fsris logo.jpg

edit

Image:Grb-fsris logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Regarding CSD Removal

edit

@FkpCascais: Could you please explain why you removed the {{db-corp}} tag from this article? There is nothing in this article to explain why this particular football club deserves a stand-alone article, and you left no explanation in your edit summary. If there is any information which would indicate that this club meets WP:FOOTYN or WP:N, please add it to the article with appropriate citations. — Jkudlick tcs 01:11, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jkudlick I removed the prods you added to clubs that played in first, second leagues and cups so they pass FOOTYN. You can easily confirm it by clicking at "What links here" botton on each article. You proded clubs even that played in first league with edit summaries such as "They played in first league so they may pass..." may? You were proding without any logic or reasoning. If you are proding articles, at least have some knolledge on the matter. FkpCascais (talk) 02:02, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
This club, OFK Niš, played in second level for many seasons between 1999 and 2006. FkpCascais (talk) 02:16, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
PRODs are different from CSD, and while I was overzealous in some PRODs last night, nowhere did I PROD an article and also say that it may meet WP:NFOOTY – those are where I added {{refimprove}} tags.
There is literally no information in this article to indicate that this club is remotely important, much less notable, as the entire article reads "OFK Niš is a Serbian football club based in Niš, Serbia." If this club did play in the second level for that many seasons, please add that information to the article with a reference to a reliable third-party source. For example, I added {{db-corp}} to FK Borac Ostružnica for the same reason I added it here – there was no indication at the time of importance. That tag was removed as the club had previously survived AfD, but the information demonstrating that the club met WP:FOOTYN was not in the article. I added that information and the reference to the article prevent another CSD or AfD. I ask that you do the same here (and to the other articles where I pinged you) if you have access to such information. — Jkudlick tcs 02:29, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
I see. You are right. I am adding the info where necessary and restoring the template where I am not able to find anything for them to make them pass FOOTYN. I found out I was wrong in removing it from 2 articles while the rest I am fixing. FkpCascais (talk) 02:36, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
