Infobox edit

  • Genres: Apala → if it is inspiration then its not a genre.
  • Recorded 2017–2018 → source?

Done. I removed Apala and the year recorded.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Lead edit

  • Add the genres of the album.

  Done  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Background edit

  • The source is the same for the first and second sentence, leave it at the end of the second phrase.
  • "as based largely on research" → can you provide a little more information with what this research is about? Perhaps the "research" was his own words?
I can't provide anymore information about his "research". Brymo did not go into specifics about what kind of research he did; all he said was that the album was based on research. If you think the statement should be omitted, I can do that.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Yes. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 21:20, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Done. I just removed the statement about the album being based on research.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • The same issue happens again, as pointed out previously in the first instance.
  • References two and six should be in the correct order, first "2" and then "6".
I don't know exactly what you mean by this. What exactly do you mean by "correct order"?  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
I did it for you. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 22:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Done

Singles edit

  • You have duplicate sources as in source 12, 15 and 16 → they are all the same
  • The album's second single "Bá’núsọ" (Yoruba: "Follow Up") was released on 9 September 2018 → The album's second single "Bá’núsọ" (Yoruba: "Follow Up") was released on 9 September 2018, along with its music video.

  Done  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Track listing edit

  • All tracks are written by Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ → All tracks are written by Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ and produced by Mikky Me
  • Remove the producer from the tracklist since he is always the same.

  Done with both.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Release history edit

  • You don't need the tooXclusive source, you have everything from the Itunes one.

  Done  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

References edit

  • 360nobs strikes me as a blog, as the writers seem to lack professional background
360nobs is a blog but the reviewer is a professional reviewer. The reviewer's name is Wilfred Okiche and his reviews are published by 360nobs and YNaija. if you check here, you'll see a small list of albums and films he's reviewed.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 15:38, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
You can't cite wikipedia. Do you have external sources claiming such? YNaija is another blog. Also Newspaper and magazine blogs. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:50, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
I was not citing Wikipedia. I was simply pointing out the number of projects Okiche has reviewed. I am simply saying he is a professional reviewer, not that he meets Wikipedia's notability criteria. YNaija might be a blog but they have an editorial team. They aren't many media platforms in Africa covering music and entertainment-related content. If we had more platforms (like it is in the West), African-related entertainment articles would be lengthy.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Show me that he is a professional reviewer and the source can be used, but only citing him never the source. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 20:01, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
According to this source, his writings have appeared in various print and online publications (I have already mentioned YNaija and 360nobs). One of the articles he co-wrote appeared in Variety. Sense of Cinema, a reliable website, describes him as "one of the most influential critics working in the Nigerian culture space". Someone who isn't "professional" can't be described in this way. Per his short bio on their page, Okiche is a member of FIPRESCI. All of this shows he is a professional critic whose writings have appeared in a number of publications.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:32, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Easy   Done MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 22:44, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Overall edit

  • The tooXclusive source is good, perhaps a small personnel section with producer, mastering, mixing and that that is on the back cover.
  • Don't address any concerns until I say so.

@Versace1608: I understand you might be excited to adress the issues, but I can't be reviwing the article, as I might be going back and forth with you adressing my concerns and you fixing them. Please stepback. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:36, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Are you done reviewing the article? I'd like to address your other concerns  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 16:30, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

No, read above. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:39, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have addressed your concerns to the best of my ability. I'm awaiting for your response, thanks.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 19:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Did I told you to do so? Can't you respect me? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 21:19, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
I apologize for editing the page man. I just don't know what other concerns you have with the article.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 21:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Versace1608: Relax, I'm not going to fail it. It is in pretty good shape, just needs some touches here and there. Add the management and marketing as well to the personnel section. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 14:58, 3 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Done. I just added the management and marketing info to the personnel section.  Versace1608  Wanna Talk? 22:55, 3 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
