nuclear power plants are the safest mode of electricity generation?? edit

It's supposed to say conventional somewhere in that sentence. The paper does not propose nuclear powered electricity production is less detrimental to health compared to renewables [citation needed]. 212.98.115.26 (talk) 16:27, 20 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

"It's supposed to say conventional somewhere in that sentence" is it? Why do you say that? Mtpaley (talk) 21:50, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Maybe they meant to say "controversial" instead of "conventional"? 2003:D3:8726:600:F02D:54B0:473D:D658 (talk) 20:28, 23 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

The world's first full scale power station solely devoted to electricity production—Calder Hall was also meant to produce plutonium edit

This seems contradictory. Was Calder Hall solely devoted to electricity production was was it for electricity + plutonium production? Mtpaley (talk) 19:36, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Looking at the article on Sellafield (new name for Calder Hall) it says "In its early life Calder Hall primarily produced weapons-grade plutonium, with two fuel loads per year; electricity production was a secondary purpose" so I think this sentance needs reversing.
