WW2 edit

- I no longer have a subscription to the British Newspaper Archive but it is possible to search, 1943 Goose Fair opened on 31 July 1943 Search results see 2nd and 11th result fair closed for four years 1939 to 1942 inc.--palmiped | Talk 11:08, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

The short story "Goose Fair" by D.H. Lawrence was published in THE ENGLISH REVIEW in February 1910 67.70.57.57 (talk) 18:14, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
- Yes I think you might be right. It's selling on ebay. [1] And, to be fair, I can't find any actual evidence that it was "first published in 1914". Rodney Baggins (talk) 10:03, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
