How could anyone think that Not Quite Dead isn't "notable"? Probably for the same reason that Not Quite Dead has been rarely reviewed and is hard to gather information about. It isn't a super-hero comic.

On the other hand, Gilbert Shelton created The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, one of the most famous underground comics, so his most recent comic book work should be notable to anyone interested in adult comic books. Rick Norwood (talk) 16:10, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • Getting reviewed is one of the primary ways of being notable, but it is not the only way. More basically, the talk page isn't the place to try to establish notability; add references to the article and then the tag can be removed. I get that Gilbert Shelton is notable, but that doesn't mean everything he did is notable. That's why we merge things sometime.
