should this be added to the article? 76.245.44.104 (talk) 07:11, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

I'd prefer to wait to see if this has any lasting impact or ramifications. It could easily turn out to be just a flash-in-the-pan incident not even warranting a brief mention. ElKevbo (talk) 15:51, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
LOL, this incident occurred at Northwestern, not Northwest. 76.168.205.230 (talk) 05:37, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

NPOV

Ness had the impression from God—this is not neutral language. Wikipedia articles should be written in language that would be seen as accurate by anyone in possession of the observable facts, whether they be believers or not. If someone wrote an article on Mormon or Muslim history or belief, and made statements assuming the truth of their belief, but at variance with yours, you would not consider it factual. If I were to write an article on any church I had been in – Anglican, Baptist or Apostolic – I would have to do it in terms that a non-believer would find factual. It may be as simple as saying, "Ness recounts that he had the impression from God" (if he did recount it), rather than the statement as it appears in the article. This states the facts neutrally without compromising your own belief. Koro Neil (talk) 00:25, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
