Northern Hemisphere perspective edit
This page appears to be written from the POV of Northern America. If this was done in Australia, or South America for example the plants would be moving from hot to a colder climate. I wonder if a similar effect occurs in Australia? (moving from South to North though - 'Southern vigor?)
The article is not clear on this, but I also wonder if it refers specifically to plants being grown as seedlings in the 'north' and then moved 'south' for maturation? --220 of Borg 04:03, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
Source re cause of 'Northern Vigor' effect edit
It appears that the general cause of the 'Northern Vigor' effect has been determined "In 1986 a research project at the Department of Horticulture Science, University of Saskatchewan determined the basis for the Northern Vigor™ phenomenon." See Physiological Basis for Northern Vigor™ at truenorthseed.com. A more independent source would be better. Perhaps Northern Vigor™ in Seed Potato Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Canada-Saskatchewan Irrigation Diversification Centre, January 1998 ("456 KB". {{cite web}}: Missing or empty |url= (help)456 KB).
