Surely the one thing the reader wants to know is, how did this oddity come to be? --Wetman 02:19, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Two years and its still not included in the article. Maybe I will add it myself. IvoShandor 12:29, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Needles edit

I have heard this referred to as the Needle or Needlepoint or some slangy term, does that happen or did I dream this up? If I didn't perhaps it merits mention? IvoShandor 12:28, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Eddie Dew Memorial Airpark edit

Hi all, Wanted to let you know that Eddie Dew Memorial Airpark has been nominated for deletion. If any editor has constructive history, data, events, or other material to add to the article I'd appreciate it! Thanks again. Market St.⧏ ⧐ Diamond Way 20:04, 20 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Midwestern Reference edit

The midwestern reference is extremely odd. The source cited specifically does not name West Virginia. The counties of Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, and the West Virginia Northern Panhandle are all deemed Appalachian counties by the Appalachian Regional Commission. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a source that states that the panhandle has midwestern characteristics outright. I think the reference needs to be removed barring a more specific source.

Adding to this too - if you click on the upland south page, it literally shows the panhandle as part of the upland south. I really think that whole sentence needs to be deleted. It just seems like a stretch in every sense of the word. Somethingdiscrete (talk)
