As above, two editors added facts that the home of a firefighter was torched. User John from Idegon summarily deleted all facts and links the two editors had added. John from Idegon at first claimed he deleted all new information because he was offended by a few words describing Sundown Town. However, he twice deleted not just those words but all information about the firefighter, the FBI investigation, and the role of area people in taking up a collection to help the firefighter. I placed a note on John from Idegon's wiki page asking him to explain his action. He did not reply but instead suppressed all reference to this topic on the article page. It is sad that he does not use his words to explain his deletions of the work of two editors. In light of the unexplained suppression of information about North Tonawanda, I conclude there is a POV issue here. Without doing so himself, John from Idegon demanded that this dispute be taken to the talk page. It is now here. Skywriter (talk) 00:28, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
- Your conclusions are faulty. The title of this discussion is a violation of WP:TALK. You have outright lied in that I did respond to your message on my talk page, clarifying my edit summary and stating that content discussion should occur here. You have not addressed either of my concerns expressed in the edit summaries, but instead have personalized the discussion and made unsubstantiated personal attacks, which do not phase me. If you wish to have a constructive dialog, I am more than happy to do that. I will not respond to your unfounded allegations however.
