Council article
editIn other areas of England, there are separate articles for the area and the authority e.g. Thanet District and Thanet District Council. Do we need that here as well? Crookesmoor (talk) 12:00, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- The answer is when the politics gets so interesting, so more than one year old, that usually happens. Almost by osmosis. It certainly doesn't go on very long.- Adam37 Talk 17:07, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
- In addition to the Wikidata entry for the area (Q60790121) I've created a new one for the Council (Q111232446). Watty62 (talk) 09:23, 14 March 2022 (UTC)
- I don't think so, while its an administrative county I don't think for unitary districts its a good idea to have separate articles per WP:UKDISTRICTS unless there's substantially different content otherwise it tends to create more confusion especially as the term "unitary authority" technically refers to the council but in common usage often applies to the district its self.
