Neil Jenkins, the President of North East Humanists died recently and I went to his funeral yesterday. It was the first Humanist funeral I'd ever been to, and it was beautifully orchestrated by celebrant Chris Haine alongside members of Neil's family, friends and colleagues.
Neil will be much missed, but the funeral was not a solemn occasion, but as it should be - a celebration of almost 93 years of achievement. It was a good send-off and and an inspiring occasion.

Lack of a neutral point of view

This statement shouldn't be in an encyclopedia because it lacks a neutral point of view. Also the word "rich" in this context is a "peacock" word. I am removing the sentance. Nicg1883 (talk) 22:01, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
