Even though the North American Competitiveness Council is equally constituted by representatives from the United States, Canada and Mexico, this section presents exclusively the opposition to the NACC which has been -may have been- encountered in the United States and Canada. A similar view from Mexico is not included.

Moreover, the section heavily focuses on the views of the Council of Canadians. Quotations such as 'harmonization' call the reader's attention by the bias they feature.
