IG Farben's war compensation edit

What about the story of IG Farben's share of the company that was given to the Norwegian state as part of war compensation, as far as I understand... is no one going to write about that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.159.86.214 (talk) 01:30, October 26, 2006 (UTC)

Since you know so much about this, why don't you write about it. Arsenikk 18:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Light metal production during WWII edit

Before the article expansion which I have just undertaken it had a statement, which I have not changed, which reads: "The first steps towards metal production came in 1940 when Hydro started construction of a magnesium carbonate plant at Herøya, but the German invasion of Norway stopped the plans. " This appears to be in conflict with information which I have added (source being the Norwegian (bokmål) article) now which states that "Norsk Hydro also cooperated closely with the Luftwaffe-operated Nordische Aluminium Aktiengesellschaft (Nordag) in building new aluminium and magnesium plants in support of the German war effort." Since this assumedly is rather contentious matter, it would be important to have this clarified soon. __meco (talk) 20:57, 1 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

I incidentally uncovered the missing piece in the German Wikipedia article de:Herøya (Telemark). __meco (talk) 10:56, 2 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hærøy??? edit

There are several mentions of Herøya in the article, and one of Hærøy. I can't find anything on the Web about Hærøy. Is this an alternate spelling of Herøya? Or is it a different place? 76.254.25.55 (talk) 07:18, 25 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
