Norops edit

This will need more references. Also it will need a taxobox at some point. Many of the gastropod articles are clades not assigned to the conventional ones (i.e. phylum, class, order, family, genus ...) Would Norops eventually be give a subgenus status (see Varanus with its various subgenera)? Bruinfan12 (talk) 01:44, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Needs attention edit

This article needs attention: its tone is un-encyclopedic and border-line original research (especially the details about Reptile Database changing classification). It also needs more of a Neutral POV: It currently reads like an account by someone with first hand knowledge of the topic, but needs better citation and neutral contextualization of claims (heavy reliance on Anole Annals blog especially needs careful distinction between fact and opinion or hunches). I feel the Taxonomic Status section goes a bit too far into detail; the major points and debates can probably be more succinctly summarized. Lastly, the list of species and the photo gallery seems a bit unwieldly, the photos would take up less space in a gallery format.--Animalparty-- (talk) 05:03, 14 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I came on the talk page to post about the unorganized images scattered throughout the page. They look the article look very unprofessional and take up too much room. I noticed Animalparty touched on the "unwieldy" images as well. Do you think the page would be more visually appealing if the images were placed into a gallery instead. Let me hear your thoughts.
