Vietnam War service edit
Although Marous served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era, no reliable sources found as of yet state that he served in Vietnam during the war. Accordingly, Category:American military personnel of the Vietnam War was removed from the article. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 13:49, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
Oldest & Longest Serving Air Force NCO edit
Although the source document indicates he is the oldest & longest serving NCO in the Air Force, this article did not consider members of the Air National Guard. CMSgt Edward G. Meckel had a longer career (21 May 1921 to 1 Sep 67), although his enlistment began before the Air Force became a separate service. Meckel was also older, retiring at the age of 64. [1]
