As it is now, this article is mostly about how From Time Immemorial and criticism of it was received. - Why should anything be deleted? I happen to know wikipedia runs on top of MySQL - where nothing is actually deleted anyhow - it's just removed from view. Like all databases, the information contained can be rolled back. There's nothing wrong with duplicating information, and there's everything wrong with making information either inaccessible or hidden.
