Would it make sense to have a section on this page for all the people named "Norman"? So far, only "Charlie Norman" is listed. But a quick search of Wikipedia turns up dozens of people named "Norman", as either a first or last name. We should include all (or most) of them. Or none. But not just one. I'm beginning to lean to the idea of having "no people". There are a lot of kings named "George" that need to be disambiguated. And several historical and Biblical people named "Joseph" that deserve the same treatment. But I can't find anybody that would be confused with just the word "Norman". It seems like it would always be qualified as a first or last name; therefore it needs no dismbiguation. I first stumbled on this page while looking for disambiguation pages that are linked to. It currently ranks near the top as one of the most linked-to disambiguation pages. But after looking at a bunch of those pages, most of them are refering to the "Norman" people, not somebody named Norman. So I vote to remove all persons named Norman from the page. Oops. Obviously I should have looked at the page before coming here. Zyxw has just added a huge list of people and placenames. I guess the other question to ask is how someone would search for a person. Place names I can understand - you'd just type in "Norman". Should there be an entry for Normandy on this page? The Normans article only covers up to the 12th century, but aren't subsequent and present day inhabitants of Normandy still known as Normans? E.g. Jean de Béthencourt. Gil Gamesh 15:59, 9 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

so in season 3 of Crikey! They had to give Norman an x-ray which showed a tumor which was causing pain. Because of that they had to put him to sleep. Could we make an article about him? ChaseTOM4YT (talk) 04:32, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
