Anne Benna Sims

edit

Was Anne Benna Sims an African-American American Ballet Theater soloist? She danced the company premiere of Paul Taylor's Airs in 1981 with Lisa Rinehart, Janet Shibata, Rebecca Wright, Brian Adams, Warren Conover and Robert La Fosse. Her name appears in 1978–80 NY Times reviews as well. Nora Kimball's first ABT premiere was Clark Tippet's Enough Said in 1987 and her earliest NY reviews are from Netherlands Dance Theater's 1982 appearance. — Robert Greer (talk) 13:09, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
