Redirect edit

This album will be released in august, but we don't even have a tracks listing and a release day...in my opinion, this page has to be redirected to the artists page and then re-inserted some days before its release day..--׺°”˜`”°º×ηυηzια׺°”˜`”°º× 11:27, 3 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't this article instead be marked as a stub?Circusstar (talk)

No but it should be redirected, nothing is confirmed yet!!!׺°”˜`”°º×ηυηzια׺°”˜`”°º× 20:36, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy nomination & contest edit

I have nominated this article for speedy deletion per CSD G4, as it is a re-creation of the article No Gravity (Shontelle album) discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/No Gravity (Shontelle album) where the result one month ago was redirect. If this article were to remain it should be renamed No Gravity (Shontelle album) per WP:PRECISION and to match extant links to the old redirected article name. — JohnFromPinckney (talk) 13:50, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Normally im all for deletion of articles without alot of information, BUT im going to argue to keep this. The original issues that lead to a re-direct have been addressed. It has a cover, title, and release date. The album comes out it 3 weeks, deletion is unneeded. (But i support the move request) (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 21:00, 24 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Per [[1]] the current article is different from the previously AfD > merge article. Active Banana (talk) 00:05, 25 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

No Gravity (2010 album)No Gravity (Shontelle album) — There was (from Feb. to June 2010) an article about this album; it was named No Gravity (Shontelle album). Article was discussed at AfD, result in June was redirect to Shontelle. Meanwhile article was remade as No Gravity (2010 album). This article should supercede the redirect through renaming/moving, in accordance with usual disambiguation practice (Shontelle will have only one No Gravity album, but other artists may release a No Gravity in 2010). There are still a couple of links to No Gravity (Shontelle album), although some have been changed to No Gravity (2010 album). Relisted. No Gravity (Shontelle album)No Gravity (album) — The album which previously existed at No Gravity (album) was for the artist Kiko Loureiro but was redirected to No Gravity. No other albums exist with this name so it seems obvious that this is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 16:19, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose. There are at least two albums by this name, both with articles, and this is possibly the more famous of those two but not sufficiently so to justify its being the primary topic. Andrewa (talk) 17:57, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
which is the other album of this title? Because it was missing from No Gravity (the disambiguation page) -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 18:06, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
There seems to be a misunderstanding... the other is No Gravity (Kiko Loureiro album). And it's been on the DAB all along, and you referred to it above! Andrewa (talk) 18:34, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Ah that's because before I edited No Gravity, this is what the page looked like. In light of this... and in light of the current state of the dismabiguation page I do think that Shontelle's album is the WP:PRIMARY TOPIC it has masses more coverage than the other album. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 20:04, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
You're of course entitled to your opinion, but it would carry more weight if you cited some evidence, particularly as Shontelle's album is not due for release for a couple of days yet. All told, a particularly bad time to be proposing such a move. Andrewa (talk) 04:30, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
PS the other album seems to be there in the old version of the DAB to which you link, too. Andrewa (talk) 04:34, 17 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. Two albums with this title, and I'm not particuarly convinced that either can claim to be the primary topic. PC78 (talk) 22:59, 16 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
