The squadron aircraft noted in the entry for this squadron is incomplete as during the Second World War 245 Squadron was equipped with Typhoons and formed a key part of The 2nd Tactical Air Force operating out of Westhampnett, (now Goodwood) and various other satellite airfields such as Holmsley North around D-day.
