The wording and format of this biography article seems to indicate that it was written by the individual herself, like a CV. A huge chunk of the article is simply a list of her works. There is little about the personal life, and some text like, "Growing up, she was surrounded by strong and resourceful wāhine, fisherfolx, hula dancers, singers, and storytellers," are taken directly from the source written in first-person by the subject.
