Oppose deletion As the author of the entry I believe it is not contentious in any way. I am the verger of one the churches in the area covered by the archdeacon and the press release was issued by the Diocesan Press Officer to people like me for use in parish magazines etc. The press release is in the public domain. I have seen no other current material and I have met her to talk to. I am more than happy for the entry to be amended in anyway to correct any factual inaccuracies. DonBarton, I'm afraid that I do not see anything that indicates that the press release is in the public domain. On the contrary, the page cited carries a clear copyright notice, "© Copyright The Diocese of Worcester, 2001-2014". Based on that, I would usually just have removed all content copied from that source to allow for it to be rewritten in your own words, but did not do so in this case because I can find nothing whatsoever to indicate that this person is notable by our standards (mass deletion of content just before nominating for deletion can attract criticism). As we see at WP:CLERGY, Anglican bishops are likely to be considered notable; this person is not a bishop, and appears to have done nothing of note other than the work she has chosen to do. If there is in-depth coverage of her life and work in reliable major national publications, please mention them in the deletion discussion (and add them to the article too).
