Better images now available
editHi all,
New to recommending image changes, so hopefully I'm doing this right.
There are several images of Niki now available on commons. They're from her Melbourne Press Club Lifetime Achievement Award acceptance, are more recent than the existing shot, and have much better lighting etc. They're also from what could be considered a significant career moment.
You can find those shots here.
While I feel these might serve the article better, I didn't want to just barge in and replace what is here already. CattoRayTube (talk) 11:30, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi User:CattoRayTube - feel free to go ahead and swap them out! They look much higher quality, and there's probably room for two or three photos in the article. I T B F 📢 13:18, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for confirming I wouldn't be treading on toes, @ITBF. I have gone ahead and made those edits :)
- If you or anyone think I've not chosen the best pics or placements, please do change or revert. I feel both images could use a crop but I'm unsure how to fork an image on commons haha. CattoRayTube (talk) 16:01, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- @CattoRayTube Try using CropTool - should be pretty straightforward to activate and then it will allow you to crop any image and either overwrite the existing image or upload directly to Commons as a separate file. I T B F 📢 16:04, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
- Ooh! Thank you! I'm going to get some sleep but will get the virtual scissors out on the morrow. CattoRayTube (talk) 16:19, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
