NOTE TO ALL EDITORS: "WALLEY" (no "H" in the name) is the correct spelling of the name - per the official Quarrymen website and biography. His name has been mis-spelled "Whalley" in numerous books etc and on websites that have compounded that mistake. But it is 100% certain that those books and the websites that have repeated the mistake are erroneous. DO NOT CHANGE THE SPELLING OF THIS NAME. .
