Expanding the page or not edit

I expanded this stub into a full page using information from nobelprize.org, jama.ama-assn.org and www.americanscientist.org. --Mecil 02:17, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

More expansion is required. --Bhadani 11:18, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Care to actually give constructive advice? E.g. what kind of expansion would you like to see? --Mecil 00:03, 19 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Removed the expanding tag for 4 reasons:
1, This page gives fair encyclopaedian knowledge without being a full biography.
2, Many less complete pages on wikipedia have not been required to expand for expandings sake.
3, There has come no constructive advice on why nor how this article should be expanded.
4, There has been no info on this at the Wikipedia:Requests_for_expansion page.

But feel free to add any relevant information to this article --Mecil 15:24, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to see a fuller description of his work and ideas. Another source would be his Scientific American article. I think some of his ideas didn't hold up in later research. And if he had a "troubled life," I'd like to know why. --Nbauman (talk) 22:58, 11 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Niels Kaj Jerne.gif edit

Image:Niels Kaj Jerne.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
