Need to read more about this, but it seems a distinct behaviour of this species within this genus TinglyRadiance (talk) 21:57, 3 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

The research specifically shows that N. pustulatus will lay eggs on either carrion OR snake eggs, so the behavior appears facultative, not obligate. Dyanega (talk) 22:24, 3 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
