Per this source (and others), Jackson didn't "gave his consent" for Marvel to use his likeness. Marvel used it, then sought forgiveness when Jackson found out. According to Time, Marvel promised him the role of Fury if a movie was made. I'm not really sure how this fits with the Clooney claim. Business Insider gives me the impression the talks with Clooney were circa 2003 ("At the same time..."). Argento Surfer (talk) 16:18, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your assessment appears to be correct. I have removed the "consent" assertion. Please feel free to go ahead and adjust the rest accordingly. BD2412 T 16:28, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

When this page is previewed, it gives a tall shot of the jacket and completely cuts off his head. Anyone know how to fix this? AAEexecutive (talk) 21:42, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I assume you are referring to mw:Page Previews. This is not an error, the previewed image is cropped to fit the width of the popup. Because the image we use is extremely narrow, Fury's head is cut off. Thus, the only way to fix this would be to upload a wider image (which I don't imagine will be extraordinarily hard to do). I uploaded a new version of the image. Hopefully it helps. ZooBlazer 05:12, 11 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yep, a quick and easy fix. Thanks, Zoo. InfiniteNexus (talk) 05:14, 11 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
