The article says, "Coleman is on his second stint at the Star Tribune, having begun his career there in the 1970’s." The Star Tribune didn't exist back then. He most likely started his career at the Minneapolis Star or the Minneapolis Tribune. I don't know which is correct, so I'm not editing the page. Pha telegrapher 05:16, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vandalization and NPOV Violation Target

edit

This article has a history of being a target for vandalization and NPOV violation, as indicated here.

Some of the blatant NPOV vios have been added back again after being fixed. Please pay attention to this page to watch for repeated inappropriate edits. - Reaverdrop (talk/nl) 18:05, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Update - blatant NPOV vios have been reverted back to again (here), by one of its original authors (e.g. here), without any discussion why it would be a justified change instead of simple vandalism. If anyone thinks there's a good reason why an encyclopedic article should call its subject e.g. a "poor caricature", they should defend it on the talk page before trying to edit-war their wording back again. - Reaverdrop (talk/nl) 20:03, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

The true reason he left Air America Twin Cities was interference from management over topic selection and dissatisfaction with his salary. That is documented here: http://blogs.citypages.com/blotter/2005/08/ Low ratings was not a factor, as this station has low ratings locally anyway. I will try to update accordingly. 108 - 9/15/07 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108stitches (talkcontribs) 14:40, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I dont know why someone keeps deleting the sentence on Coleman's opinion that we do not pay enough taxes. I can make about 100 citations, however I feel this assertion is just as valid as anything else in the article that is uncited. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.174.4 (talk) 03:40, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Well why don't you post some of those here? As of right now, becasue no one has cited any creditable sources that statement will keep on getting removed. Anyway I noted that someone has requested semi protection for the on going edit wars, I felt that will not stop the revert war and I have requested full protection until we get the dispute sorted out here. removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

edit

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 00:52, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
