Darfur
editI think that something should be stated about his struggle to spread the news about the horrors of Darfur with George, his son. I was present when Nick was at St. Xavier High this March and the real reason why he was there was to make a speech about Darfur. Thanks, Dadieseldude 01:55, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Nick Clooney's marriage
editIf Nick Clooney was born in 1934, and if he married in 1939, then that would make him 5 years old when he married, which is highly unlikely. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.68.106.3 (talk) 19:49, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Nick met his future wife Nina Warren when he was an emcee at the Miss Kentucky contest and she was Miss Lexington (Nina was born in Perryville, KY). They did NOT meet in Ohio! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.210.166.145 (talk) 02:31, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Heartland vs. Hollywood
editHard to believe the media in Cincinnati would use this phrase to characterize the political race, since it's biased, since 'heartland' is not a word that is used to by Cincinnatians to describe this area or this region, and since no one in Cincinnati would consider Nick Clooney to be a Hollywood figure, although it might apply to his son, who did a fundraiser for his father at a restaurant but otherwise was not very visible. No source is given for the claim the media used this term to describe the race, and it only turns up on the web in copies of this article; however, one source claims that Clooney's opponent's campaign used the phrase at some point. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.102.221.241 (talk) 09:12, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Politician
editCan we really list him as a politician since he never actually served in a political office just ran for one, I known people who have run for office and lost and are not considered anything more then a one or two time candidate.
