• The infobox does not mention Hugh, but the template Archdeacons of Huntingdon, of Huntingdon and Wisbech and of Wisbech does. Should they not agree?

• Link diocese of Lincoln Consider using this (or something else) as a reference for the first sentence.

• Nicholas would lose possession of the church if he either became a monk or if he was elevated to a bishopric, however. Improve the quality of the prose by combining this sentence with the previous one, e.g. ...granted a church to Nicholas to hold for life, on the condition that he would lose possession of the church if he either became a monk or if he was elevated to a bishopric.

• Consider expanding this section using this (p.2), which refers to (and quotes) the letter of introduction sent by John of Salisbury to Nicholas de Sigillo.

• I did see that in my research (and went back to look at it as the book is on my shelves) but I don't think there is anything else in what Brooke is saying that sheds any more light on Nicholas. --Ealdgyth (talk) 00:50, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

• The book British Seals (pp. 155, 156) describes Nicholas' seal—but without illustrating it (see link). An image of the seal to be found in The National Archives at Kew, can be seen here. (When it's possible to go London again, I'll go and see the seal and take a photograph of it for this article, let me know if you have a 'shopping list' of similar images I can help provide for your articles!)

• I cannot access refs 5, 6 and 7 (and 8 in the next section), as I'm at home and the libraries near me are all closed. They look fine to me.
• ...and Thorney Abbey. - expland slightly to give some idea of the abbey's location? (e.g. '…and the Fens abbey at Thorney.') Similarly, I would add 'in Yorkshire' after Malton Abbey.

• I'm not sure why Richard fitz Nigel is used in this article but not everywhere else (e.g. Richard FitzNeal).

I think that got everything. Sorry for the delay - unlike folks in cities who are probably bored out of their minds, I'm out in the middle of Wisconsin in deepest rural dairy country and am busy setting up our property for a horse and small hobby farm... we just moved last year and thus this is our first spring on the place.
