COI edit

I've added a COI tag to this article because it's regularly being edited by User:Artistresearch, who (I suspect) has an interest in the topic matter. The user has already been reported to the administrators. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 17:21, 23 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

yes artistresearch is the website of the subject and is the originator of the topic< so delete the article then (if the subject is relevant and important enough somebody else will start it up again< we suggested that already but wikipedia is refusing< what is that you want then, Qwertyus..? please delete the article, apparently we can not — Preceding unsigned comment added by Artistresearch (talkcontribs) 16:22, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
A conflict of interest does not preclude inclusion, the tag only says that it may have issues and alerts our readers of a bias that may be present. Please reliably source the article and it should be ok, it's not overly promotional. I myself have made articles I had a COI with...see Dax Charles and the disclosure I made at [[1]]. Keep everything neutral and well sourced and you will be fine and you'll be fine. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 16:26, 4 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have added references and removed the notability tag as this person clearly passes WP:MUSICBIO, on the recordings alone. I would also have removed the Conflict of Interest tag as the article in its current state does not reflect a COI. However, it had been removed by an anonymous IP (94.225.81.88) registered to Belgium who also removed the clearly referenced year of birth which is a matter of public record and appears on his publisher's website as well as on numerous databases.

  • Do not remove referenced information without providing a reason and discussing it on the article's talk page.

Is it OK/relevant to add this review of the opera "Shell Shock" (I see a review of another piece is listed)? "Shell Shock" review Writie (talk) 09:43, 27 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with List of operas by Nicholas Lens edit

Not long enough for a stand alone list Gbawden (talk) 08:51, 15 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'd say to simply redirect List of operas by Nicholas Lens to this article. There's nothing to merge as this article already contains the information present in that list which has a sum total of 2 entries. The list was part of a concerted effort to plaster the subject's name and works all over Wikipedia (see the COI section above). Voceditenore (talk) 11:13, 15 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
No discussion after a year and there does not appear to be an objection. Created redirect per WP:BOLD. No need to merge as the content was already in this page. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:00, 6 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
