edit

This is a blatant advertisement. --Slashme 15:45, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Added Content edit

I dont see this in anyway as an advertisement. Ive added some content, and an Infobox on the side. The article still needs some work.

Self referenced Page... edit

10 of the 15 references on this News24 wiki, is to the News24 website, this does not conform to WP:IS... If there are no objections, I will start looking for alternate references, and possibly remove any info i cant reference independently. Gremlinsa (talk) 14:22, 10 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Page Name... edit

News24 is a part of Media24, as are most of the '24' sites listed in the article.. This page should be named Media24, and have a section on News24... if no objection i'll move within 24hours.. Gremlinsa (talk) 10:27, 20 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Or rather I should say merge with Media24 page.. Only just found it.... Gremlinsa (talk) 12:37, 20 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

the news website should self-identify where it's from! edit

I'm glad the News24 website is explained here, as being from South Africa, and that complaining here has no effect with them, but they should clearly self-identify where they're from! That way people could have some sense of how to judge the validity of their articles. UnderEducatedGeezer (talk) 01:18, 13 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Landing pages for advertising edit

It is a relevant techinical issue for the historical section. It is sourced by this book which seems not to have neither an OCLC nor an ISBN code. Nevertheless, it can be believed to be a WP:reliable source since the same author edited a monography in the field of informatics (OCLC 989234413) and contributed to an additional academic paper in the field of bionanotechlogies resulting into the WorldCat aggregator. The monography is available in no one of the libraries affiliated to WorldCat. It could be a somesort of Internet censorship. Otherwise, if this seems to be any kind of sponsorhisp, then this topic could be get away from the current discussion page, leaving the citation in the WP article.
