The article seems complete and well-written for the most part. A few things came up during the review:

1. Too many sentences begin with "Route 41" - some variety is needed

   Done.

2. wikilink "concurrent"

   Done.

3. "heads through twists and turns" - doesn't seem encyclopedic. Perhaps "turns several times"?

   Done.

4. "At an intersection with New York State Route 12, Route 41 turns off 206 and heads concurrent along Route 12." - I understand what this is saying, but I had to read it three times first. Can it be simplified and/or reworded?

   Done.

5. "New York State Route 221 terminates during the concurrency, which ends soon after." - I'm confused. If 221 terminates, doesn't this end the concurrency immediately?

   Done.

6. "In the 1920s, the road connecting the village of Skaneateles to the village of Homer via the east side of Skaneateles Lake was formerly a numbered state highway" - can the "formerly" be removed, as the sentence seems to be talking about the 1920s, when it was a numbered state highway?

   Done.

7. Likewise, in the next sentence, perhaps "was" instead of "had been"?

   Done.

8. Does the reference in "NY 41A" cover the whole sentence? If so, can it be moved to the end?

   Done. (It does)

9. Can you find out if User:Skudrafan1 took the picture for Image:Skaneateleslake41.jpg ? Currently, there is no source information.

   User:Skudrafan1/Photos has it listed, I trust that he took it.

I checked out Skudrafan1's image page. It states that he took the picture, so I added that information to the image description page. That takes care of the last concern, so I am promoting the article. GaryColemanFan (talk) 17:30, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
