Is this a film article?

Imdb has it listed as a TV-series since it was shown in a series of episodes on PBS, I think it qualifies as a mini-series at best, but not a film and therefore should not be included in the WikiProjectFilms list. If no one has objections, I am going to remove the film project tags and add Television Project tags. FilmFemme 17:31, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Discrepancies

Caveat emptor. In Episode Four the historians state that 146 women died. They also state that the doors were locked to keep out Union organizers. Finally, one historian says that women fell onto and were impaled by a fence. However, the main wikipedia article on the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire states that 23 of the 146 victims were men and that the doors were locked as "a common practice used to prevent workers from taking unauthorized breaks and pilferage". In my own independent research, I have not found any evidence of a fence on the sides of the building that face the street which is where most of the victims jumped (a historic photo marked which windows victims used to exit). My brief and shallow research included visiting the building which still stands as of 2015 and looking at historic images. There remains the possibility in my mind that there was a fence behind the building which I think I heard was the location of the faulty fire escape. Alternatively, the historian may have been refering to what appear to be railings outside of an entrance...but I'm having trouble interpreting if this is indeed a building entrance or not. I just found a pair of conflicting diagrams of the layout of the building, one historic and the other modern. Page 3 of this PDF shows the fire escape on the northwest wall. However, this Cornell site shows the fire escape on the northeast wall. Perhaps this should be discussed on the main article for the triangle shirtwaist fire. --Chris Murphy (talk) 17:03, 7 August 2015 (UTC)
