I believe my edits about Israel vs. Gomez are well-sourced and appropriate, but another editor has repeatedly reverted them:

I doubt that it is possible to argue with campaign workers, and since they are not interested in Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, but abuse it as a campaign place, they will never get to know about Wikipedia's rules and usages. This article, being categorized as a "List" should contain only info on the District, and the former representatives. Personal websites and forecasts on the upcoming election should be added at the candidate's or the election's articles. Kraxler (talk) 19:05, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

When he's not even actively campaigning. Most of the time these ballot lines have to nominate someone, anyone. Unless these people can show substantial proof that they can compete or at least trying to; i find it unecessary to put them there. Smart Voter, by the League of Women Voters, says there are only 3 candidates in NY-2: http://www.smartvoter.org/2010/11/02/ny/state/race/usrep02/ but "This is a preview of the election. Candidates will be added and may change until the final certified list of names is available. Some contests or ballot questions might be added." OK, I found it on http://www.elections.state.ny.us/ it is 2010 Certified General Election Ballot (PDF):

• Steve J. Israel, Democratic
• John B. Gomez, Republican

• John B. Gomez, Conservative
• Steve J. Israel, Working Families
• Anthony Tolda, CST-Constitution

Interesting Fact Removal

I added an interesting fact (that New York's 2nd congressional district is geographically the smallest congressional district represented by a Republican in Congress), but shortly thereafter another user reverted my change without leaving any explanation.
