The page looks good; however, some of the links don't work. I think it needs more general information.LearningSciGuy (talk) 00:06, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

The inclusion of achievements and philosophy is good; for philosophy you could include something about the coaching style. I also think the article could benefit from some of the club's history and how it compares to other Illinois teams/its main competition; this would help give context and perhaps avoid speedy deletion. Keep citing local news sources, as you have here; these are verifiable references. Mbkkelsey (talk) 00:28, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Notability?

edit

I don't believe this satisfies WP:CLUB

Non-commercial organizations

Organizations are usually notable if they meet both of the following standards:

  1. The scope of their activities is national or international in scale.
  2. Information about the organization and its activities can be verified by third-party, independent, reliable sources. (In other words, they must satisfy the primary criterion for all organizations as described above.)

Not meeting WP:CLUB is not a reason for a A7 deletion. It claims third-party coverage, which is enough to indicate importance or significance. Use WP:AFD instead. Regards SoWhy 09:49, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I propose to merge this article into New Trier High School. I think that the content in this article can easily be explained in the context of the high school's article. This article is very small, and the subject of the article isn't notable enough to have a separate article. Xenryjake (talk) 06:44, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
