Description edit

This article raises the occasional headache I've raised before about the description sections in that very large parts of this section are clearly out of date - that the Blue Room is gone entirely is the largest thing, but it's obvious from the article Kerry cited that significant enough internal alterations have been made to the rest that much of the current content regarding them is also outdated. As it stands, the description section is flat-out wrong, but it'd be a shame to lose it entirely - any thoughts about what to do? The Drover's Wife (talk) 08:08, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I take an incremental and collaborative view to Wikipedia articles rather than a perfectionist view. I figure that something is better than nothing, and then if someone can improve on that, then it's better than it was. As it stands, the description is perfectly reasonable for the theatre as it was prior to the demolition of the Blue Room and subsequent construction of the multiplex. Maybe the simplest thing is to put a quality tag to that effect in the description section. I think there is a tag for out-of-date information. I will investigate and add as appropriate. Good suggestion and done. The Drover's Wife (talk) 00:45, 21 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you just beat me to it (mine was an edit conflict)! Thanks! Kerry (talk) 00:47, 21 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I think I have addressed a lot of the problems in the article now. What I can't address is the fact that the Queensland Heritage Register is so out of alignment with reality, but that's Someone Else's Problem. Kerry (talk) 22:10, 17 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Seems like a smart solution. Ta! The Drover's Wife (talk) 01:07, 18 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
